A former Pentagon official revealed a photo at a private event Monday in Philadelphia that he claims is an alien spaceship.
U.S. Army counterintelligence specialist Luis Elizondo claims the photo – which he describes as a “huge mini city floating in the sky” – was taken in Romania.
Elizondo was the former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a Pentagon unit that researches UFOs, now known as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
He released a novel in August, “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs,” with HarperCollins Publishers.
The photographs show a supposed spacecraft with a distinctive disc shape that has a beaming light emanating from the bottom while floating high in the sky.
Elizondo said the ship has thrown new “evidence” into the controversial debate over extraterrestrial life.
“‘There’s a whole lot more here folks,” he reportedly said according to The Sun. “We’re having pilots, military pilots and civilian pilots in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East, report what unimaginably seems impossible
“I just want to give you kind of a small taste of what’s going on behind the scenes.”
The claim also suggests the U.S. government is deliberately covering up evidence of aliens.

His claims have drawn lots of criticism from the military intelligence community.
Veteran U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, Jeremy McGowan, claims he witnessed a UFO encounter in the Middle East decades ago but still doubts Elizondo’s evidence.
“This unfortunate situation with Lue follows my experiences with him nearly exactly,” he said. “I witnessed him exaggerate or outright fabricate information that simply wasn’t true.
“I’ve been on the receiving end where Lue has pulled out his cell phone and shown me what he described as highly classified video.
“For him to think I would believe he would simply carry classified info on an unsecure civilian cell phone is just insulting.
“And it wasn’t just me, multiple podcast hosts were shown video Lue attributed to things they were not.”
